I founded and have been the president of the first Peruvian community at Berklee from February 2023 to August 2024.
The built of this community was to be a home for us all, where we can celebrate and share our heritage. The club started with 20 members and has now quadrupled in size being the bigger, well-organized and active from all South America.
We expand our reach by connecting with other entities such as Harvard, MIT, Peruvian Consulate, Manka Inc, Pumawari Tusuy, and collaborating with them with performances and events.
We advocate for celebrating the music careers of our national artist. We firmly believe that being at Berklee is a privillige that needs to be addressed and offer back to the community. Thus, we hosted masterclasses with Liberato Kani, Zav, Hugo Alcazar, etc.
My position gave the university confidence that I will be an outstanding candidate for being chose as ambassador which I was, and executed with great results all my duties. I coordinate and manage the trip and presentation for Peru. From contacting universities, to develop and presenting a speech.
My overall duties during my time there were project planning, executing, and marketing. Social media manager, post designer, logo designer, video recorder and editor. And finally, external relationships, manager, and band director. After some months and due the achievements, I finally was able to chose a team for delegating tasks and grow even faster. By now we have a solid presence in various social media, huge social events with +80 guests, strong connections with other universities and state institutions, and plans for the future.

I co-founded this Berklee club from 2022 aiming to facilitate and smooth the musicians adaptability to new technologies such as XR, AI and Blockchain.
My role was finance administrator, then programs organizer, and finally Outreach and Partnership Director. I helped grow the audience, managing the presentations, and giving talks about different topics that helped Berklee student to make use of this amazing tools.
I also was in charge of choosing the topics and captivating speakers such as Akito Van Troyer, George Howard, Ben Camp, Maria Finkelmeier, Sam Watkinson etc.
This experience taught me a great deal. Teaching students and collaborating with them led to extensive research. The club had an increase in its membership, with topics becoming more interesting and the scope expanding. Overall, the professionalism within the club was enhanced.

I founded this ensamble aiming for developing a product where we merge Peruvian Folklore with modern genres such us Neo Soul, Jazz, Futuristic Pop.
As manager, I undertook a comprehensive role that included creating our ensemble's logo and managing our social media presence. I developed our unique fusion product, organized schedules, calendars, and reminders, and coordinated rehearsals. I also handled the documentation for venue applications, edited promotional videos, and facilitated meetings with government representatives from the Ministry of Culture of Peru. These efforts ensured our ensemble's smooth operation and successful promotion.
I had played a pivotal role in writing the original arrangements for apply to this festival called "Viva Peru Fest" in Orlando, Florida. This event is renowned for celebrating Peruvian culture and music, making it a significant platform for showcasing our talents. The performance had the privilege of collaborating with Tony Succar, a two-time Grammy Award winner. This experience not only highlighted our ensemble's capabilities but also provided invaluable exposure and recognition within the industry.
As music director, I composed and arranged several pieces for the band. Additionally, I proposed to add pedals for the sax player, bass, and guitar, for them to start exploring new textures and colors within folklore music. Moreover, I started developing synths for the arrangements, and different setups for exploring complexity in tone. For that I used LogicX Pro and Ableton with tons of different plug-ins such as Pharlight, Kontakt, DearVR Micro, MassiveX, Exhale etc.

I founded this orchestra due to the necessity of Salsa music in Boston. I grouped the very best of Berklee in that orchestra for showing nothing but the best.
After finding the necessity of a top-level orchestra I developed the branding, possible contractors, and style. After that, I called the very best of Berklee for making this a reality.
First step was create a repertorio based on a research of most songs listened in spotify here in Boston related to salsa, bachata, cumbia and merengue. Consequently, I sent the list and start transcribing helped by Moises.AI to faster the process.
Then, I open communication lines and scheduled rehearsals with 14 musicians. During the rehearsals I positively handled any adversity with clear communication and leading by example. Finally, I planned the stage plot, dress-code, emotion reception for the setlist order, rehearse the approach to the public for a satisfying performance of the whole band which was an outstanding success.
I had the role of manager, social media manager, video editor, musical director, music arranger, and pianist which I excel in every part of the process. Due to that, we were invited to the 10th Anniversary from the Boston Foundation.
