XR Hub for Live Music Performance Innovation

The Rignite HUB is a collaborative initiative focused on developing XR-based tools for live music performances. The goal is to enable musicians to manipulate sound and visuals in real-time using XR technology, enhancing the audience's experience and giving musicians new ways to interact with their music and performances. This hub offers opportunities for students to engage with the cutting-edge intersection of XR technology, music, and performance, fostering innovation in the music industry. The development of tools aims to allow musicians to control aspects like volume, effects, and track manipulation through immersive, virtual interfaces that only they can see, bringing an interactive and dynamic element to live shows.

Hub for developing tools for musicians who perform live events with MR technology through their headsets will manipulate music in real-time using virtual interfaces that only they can see.


“ECHOES”

This was my final project at Berklee where I decided to develop a VR experience that explores from the perspective of sight-impaired users. The player walks through a small suburban landscape trying to guide himself in an attempt to get home safe.

For this project I was developed of visual modeling, immersive audio, sound design, player mechanics, physics, and game idea concept.

I built the game inUnity for Quest 2. I develop all basic mechanics for a first player, use the built-in spatial audio plug-in from the software, but also add steam to enhance immersion. To refine the sounds, first I recorded some of them (horn, dogs, street talks, room tone), and others developed from scratch using synths (beep sound, alarm)by using LogicX and Ableton. And then I mixed and master for a better result.

Scripts as time limit, sound randomizer, and audio trigger was done with Chat GPT.

“Race Orienteer”

This game aims to be a multiplayer sports competition. During my internship, I occupied the role of XR Audio Director for VentR-Out, where I was responsible for designing and placing sounds related to outdoor spaces, particularly within nature environments.

In this project, I led the sound design for 3D environments using Unity. Additionally, I utilized other software for refining the audio, including RX9, Logic Pro X, and Pro Tools. This experience allowed me to enhance my skills in creating immersive and realistic soundscapes for virtual reality applications.

By the end of my time, users found out they felt more immersive in the game due to the most realistic atmosphere.


“SandSwitch”

I had the privilege of serving as a mentor at this year’s hackathon, focusing on debugging Unity mechanics, immersive audio, and UI interfaces.

Our goal was to conceptualize, develop, and showcase cutting-edge solutions to real-world challenges, culminating in a compelling pitch to stakeholders.

This experience as a mentor provided invaluable insights. Guiding teams through their tasks enabled me to absorb diverse perspectives from all participants. The creativity, organization, and collaborative spirit demonstrated by each group have profoundly influenced my approach going forward.

NFT Ticketing in Peru

Pioneering in NFT Ticketing without a Crypto Wallet & first NFT ticketing in Peru

I think I figured out a way to bypass the biggest difficulty for use NFT as a tool in the ticketing industry due to my concert.

We have always has the barrier of the crypto wallet prohibiting us from use blockchain technology. Thus, here is my solution for live concerts.

  1. Generate the number of tickets you want to sell in NFT’s pictures. Each of them must be different than the other.

  2. Add the necessary details as a normal ticket (artist, time, place, etc.)

  3. Create a private collection and mint all those NFT’s.

  4. By now you should have two collection of the same. One minted and uploaded, and one not uploaded. Every picture will have its pair.

  5. Create a QR code for the non-minted and add the link of its minted pair (must be the same image). After that, the non-minted pair is ready to be sell at your best convenience.

  6. Therefore, once they are in the row the inspector only has to match the one in their phone with the one in the private collection. Both pictures must MATCH!
